Anjena’ Pierce, LPC

Children, Individual, & Couples

I am very passionate about counseling and find great joy in helping others. I take a holistic approach to therapy and believe in healing the whole person mind, body, and soul. I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavioral Science and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both earned at National Louis University.

I have several years of experience in private practice counseling and currently work during the day as a group therapist in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs. With a background of over 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I specialize in issues surrounding young children, new parents, child development, postpartum anxiety and depression care. A few more of my clinical interests include women’s issues, childhood trauma, anger and stress management, marriages, families, couples, and group therapy.

In addition to being a counselor, I am also a licensed minister. I create a space for clients to feel comfortable and safe while engaging in the therapeutic process.
