Our service delivery model is evidence-based, culturally-sensitive, and intended to form collaborations and foster practical application of the knowledge exchanged .  We desire that our clients experience lasting change and long term success as a result of a therapeutic relationship with CLS Comprensive Services. We offer a variety of services to meet your needs.

Individual Counseling
One on one conversation that is designed to assist you in dealing with life’s challenges and discovering solutions that work for you.

 

Group Counseling
A small group of individuals (6-8) with similar challenges, sharing in a safe environment, facilitated by one or more counseling professionals.

 

Marriage and Family Counseling
To assist couples and families in handling conflict and stress that has caused disruption in the way the family system operates.  Pre-marital counseling is also available

 

Christian Counseling
Counseling for individuals, groups, families, or couples based on the fundamental principles and teachings of the Christian Faith.

 

Mental Health and Wellness Consultation
Provide information, education, and support to individuals, the staff of schools, companies, institutions, and organizations related to mental health and wellness.

 

Clinical Supervision
Supervision is provided by Masters Level and above clinicians and stresses the individual counselor trainees’ developmental needs, refinement of counseling skills, in-depth discussion of client issues, and personal reflections.

 


Additional Services

 

Early Intervention & Prevention
Training, education, and support for families of children Birth to three that have identified special needs.  These services are traditionally conducted in the client’s home.  

 


School-Based Social-Emotional programs
We facilitate programs, groups, guidance lessons, and activities in schools that are aligned with the Illinois Standards for Social and Emotional Learning. We work collaboratively with the administration, counseling staff, and parents to assess areas of need and design a comprehensive program that encompasses mental health and wellness with a focus of social and emotional development. 


Psycho-educational groups and workshops
Non-clinical workshops and presentations on topics related to mental health and wellness.  Topics include (but are not limited to): Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Anger, Balance, Time Management, Behavior Interventions, Social and Emotional Development, Healthy Relationships, Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, Grief, Self-Esteem, and Discipline. Additional topics are tailored and created based on the targeted audience and client need.   


 

Parenting and Life Skills Education
Parent education was created to encourage parents to raise their children in emotionally healthy ways by building upon families' strengths and helping to create an environment where children can thrive personally, socially, and academically.   Life Skills training is designed to provide clients with the skills necessary to improve their lives, relationships, and career with a focus on the whole person, spirit, mind, and body.

 

Professional Development & Training
Tailored workshops and collaborative learning experiences to facilitate increased knowledge, application, and understanding leading to personal development and career advancement

 

 

Case management and linkage to community resources
We also have partnerships with other agencies, and programs to meet additional needs that our clients may express that are outside of the scope of the services we provide.   We will share information through referral to these services as needed.
