Why should I get counseling services?

Life is full of uncertainties, changes, and challenging situations.   Sometimes problems seem great and insurmountable.  If something is bothering you and causing physical, emotional or mental distress, seek help.  Don’t wait until it is too much for you to handle.   Being able to discuss situations in a safe, caring environment with someone with a different perspective may be just the type of assistance you need. What can I expect from my 1st appointment?

The goal of our first appointment is to get to know each other and share information. This session is usually longer than the subsequent ones, in order to allow for time for you to fill out the new client packet. Feel free to ask questions and “interview” your counselor to ensure the counseling relationship and CLS is a good fit for you. Your counselor will also be asking you questions in an effort to learn more about you and the reasons that brought you to CLS. As you explore your options, we want to make sure you are comfortable with the counselor you will be seeing and will request your consent to enter into a counseling relationship with you. If you agree, your next session will be scheduled. If not, we will make every effort to assist you in finding a counselor that meets your need.

How often are appointments scheduled?

Appointments are scheduled based on the individual need of each client. Your counselor will discuss this in detail at the first appointment.

What are your fees?

CLS Comprehensive Services provides a range of fees based on the type of service requested. Please call for specific rates.

What methods of payments are accepted?

Payment by cash or check is expected at the time of service.  Clients may also utilize their Flexible Spending Accounts for payment for services.

Do you accept insurance?

If you have health insurance, which may pay a portion of your fee, please note that you are responsible for any applicable co-payments, deductibles, or related fees.

CLS Comprehensive Services currently accepts APS Healthcare, BDA Morneau Shepell EAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO/FHN, Cigna Behavioral Health/EAP,  ComPsych EAP, Harmony, Illinicare/Cenpatico,  Magellan Behavioral Health/EAP, Military Health Network, Molina, Tricare, and Value Options.

For clients whose mental health benefits are carried through other insurance plans, CLS Comprehensive Services will provide you, upon request, with monthly statements to submit for reimbursement.
